Description

It was when I was ten years old that I started my first pok'emon journey. I was taken to the pok'emon universe, and started in Pallet Town of Kanto, where I was dropped off. After getting a pok'edex from Professor Oak, I said goodbye to my parents and headed off to earn eight badges. At my side was my umbreon, Midnite, and Dasher, who was an eevee at the time.

During my battle with the Pewter City Gym Leader, Flint (Brock's father), I was amazed at how powerful Midnite was. He defeated Flint's strongest pok'emon without breaking a sweat. Even Flint could not believe his eyes. After earning the Boulder Badge, I journeyed through Mt. Moon. It was there, that I had my first encounter with Team Rocket thugs.

Knowing how dangerous Team Rocket was, I prepared myself for battle. Midnite and Dasher were able to take down the enemy well enough, apparently, the thugs I encountered were not Team Rocket's best. I called the police on my Pok'egear, and they arrested the thugs. The police were kind enough to give me a ride to Cerulean City as thanks for taking care of Team Rocket.

I went through Cerulean City and Vermillion City, defeating Iara (Misty's mother) and Lt. Surge. In Lavender Town, I learned that there was quite a bit of trouble going on. I learned from the relatives of Alfred Fuji that a mother Marowak was murdered by Team Rocket while she was trying to save her child. Now the spirit of the Marowak is restless because she fears that Team Rocket will come after her child.

I learn that Mr. Fuji has gone into to Lavender Town to confront Team Rocket, who were trying to capture the ghost pok'emon, and he hasn't been heard from since. I go into the tower to find Mr. Fuji. Along the way I encounter horrifying ghosts. Ghosts of pok'emon were murdered by Team Rocket and a evil entity. Midnite and Dasher protect me from the ghosts.

I am even helped by the ghost type pok'emon living in the tower, seeing as I have came to help Mr. Fuji and stop Team Rocket. The ghost pok'emon tell me that Team Rocket are holding Mr. Fuji captive, and help me get further up the tower while holding off the restless ghosts.

As soon as I reach the top, Team Rocket try to stop me from saving Mr. Fuji, but my pok'emon take down theirs. But still, they are not ready to give up. They aim their shot guns at me, getting ready to kill me and my pok'emon. Suddenly, a ghost flies around the room and sends a attack that knocks Team Rocket's guns out of their hands. Then the ghost flies towards them, and one by one it strikes the back of their skulls, killing them instantly.

At first I am afraid the ghost will attack me next, but the ghost remains docile towards me. I got to Mr. Fuji and untie him. The ghost floats down towards us, and reveals itself to be the Marowak Team Rocket killed. Mr. Fuji thanks her for helping us, and tells her that her son is in his care. The Marowak is relieved to hear this, then she turns towards me.

"You must stop Team Rocket, Maiden of Light," she says, then disappears.

I didn't know what she meant when she called me "Maiden of Light," but I knew that she was counting on me to stop Team Rocket, though I doubted I could. Mr. Fuji brings me back to his house, where he explains what has been going on. He explains that he went to the Tower to claim the Marowak's spirit, by telling her that her son was in his care, and to stop Team Rocket from causing more murders and kidnappings.

I also confronted Team Rocket so he could learn what happened to his son, Dr. John Fuji, who they had kidnapped a few years ago. From what he knows, they are using his son to clone a powerful pok'emon, since he is very skilled in cloning. I ask him why the Marowak called me "Maiden of Light."

"When you are older, my dear, you find out," Mr. Fuji answers, "It is part of a prophecy."

He then tells me that I am the one who is meant to take down Team Rocket and their Leader, Giovanni. Once again, I doubt I could, but Fuji assures me that I can. Midnite looks at me and nods. The next day, I bid farewell to Fuji and his family, and head to Celadon City. There, I find that Team Rocket has invaded the city. There, a man with long black hair, and a red cap tells me that Team Rocket's hide out is behind a poster in the Game Counter. Before I ask him who he is and how he knows this, he disappears.

Taking the stranger's advice, I find a secret passage behind one of the posters in the Game Counter, to find Team Rocket's hideout. After sneaking around, taking down some thugs, and stealing some card keys, I reach Giovanni's office. Being face to face with Team Rocket's leader gives me goosebumps. This is the man behind many kidnappings and murders.

Giovanni apparently isn't surprised to see me, as he for some reason expected that I would come. He claims that though I am young, he doesn't under estimate me, and is willing to do everything he can to destroy me. The two of us go into a pok'emon battle.

His pok'emon were powerful, but they apparently didn't enjoy serving him, except for his Persian. During battle, Dasher gets roughed up quite a bit, but manages to defeat the enemy. Having been defeated, Giovanni takes his leave, but vows that we will meet again. After that, I continue my journey, by earning the Rainbow and Soul Badges.

But once I reach Saffron City, I find Team Rocket has taken over the city, and causing even more trouble at Silph Co. I storm into Silph Co., determined to stop Team Rocket. Along the way, a man asks me to take in Lapras, so that Rocket won't take it. Knowing what kind of abuse Team Rocket put pok'emon through, and how endangered Lapras are, I do not hesitate to take it with me.

In the room of Silph Co.'s president, I confront Giovanni, and got into another pok'emon battle him. During battle, Dasher take many beatings, but he refuses to give up. When Giovanni brings out his last and most strongest pok'emon, Dasher is injuried very badly. I cradle Dasher in my arms and cry for him.

Suddenly, Dasher evolves into a Espeon, with his health restored. Now more powerful than ever, Dasher takes down Giovanni's last pok'emon. Giovanni is in disbelief by this, but he knows not to take me lightly. He quickly flees the building with his followers, some of them getting arrested by the police.

Even though Giovanni has escaped, I realize that it won't be the last I see of him. I know that he will continue to terriorize other people and pok'emon. After recieving Silph Co.'s graditude, I go to fight Saffron Gym's leader, Salvador (Sabrina's father.) I defeated him in battle with Midnite's dark type moves, and Dasher's new powers.

After that, I go to Cinnabar Island, riding on Lapras's back. Once I reach the island, I head to the gym, where I do battle against Gym Leader, Blaine. After defeating him, he is impressed with my skill. He also tells me that he is impressed that I was able to defeat Team Rocket a few times, and defeat Giovanni twice.

Blaine then warns me to be careful when I go to Virdian Gym, as "a great amount of evil lurks there." I heed his words, and head back to Viridian City, using Dasher's Teleport. As I walk up to the Gym, I get an very pleasant feeling from it. I as walk inside, I am greeted by the sounds of screams and cries coming from further within.

Upon reaching the stadium area, I am shocked to see that the Gym Leader is Giovanni. He explains that Viridian City Gym is a santuary for Team Rocket, that not even the police can touch, for he has "a powerful ally" that is protecting them, and warns me not to try anything other than have a regular Gym Battle with him, otherwise his "ally" would tear me apart.

During battle, although I have the upper hand because of Dasher and Midnite, I keep getting destracted by the distant screams and cries. Giovanni reveals that the cries are that of pok'emon he and Team Rocket have captured, they are going through torturous training.

I am horrified from hearing this, but Midnite tells me to stay focus on the battle at hand, and tells me that while we can't do anything now, Giovanni will surely get punished for his actions someday. I nod, and continue focusing on the battle.

I defeat Giovanni, and he tosses me the Earth Badge. As he leave the Gym, Giovanni tells me that he will let me "live for now," for he will someday kill me.

"I truly doubt that," Midnite says to me as we head outside, "For as long you still breathe, you will always be protected from the likes of him."

I am comforted by Midnite's words, then we head towards the Pok'emon League. There, I face the Elite Four, and defeat them one by one. Each battle harder the other. In the end, I defeat Lance, with Midnite taking down his final pok'emon. With that, I become the Champion. My family were so proud of me, but I was even more proud of my pok'emon. Soon, I return home for a long rest from my journey, and would take on the Johto League once I was twelve years old.
